The Cyprus Mathematical Society and the Mathematical Society of South-Eastern Europe organize the 38th Balkan Mathematical Olympiad – BMO 2021. The 38th Balkan Mathematical Olympiad – BMO 2021 will be held Online at Distance from the 6th to the 10th of September 2021, and the Host Organizer of the Olympiad is the Cyprus Mathematical Society (CYMS). The contest will take place on Wednesday, 8th of September 2021.

The Mathematical Society of South Eastern Europe expresses its deepest regret for the loss of the Prof. Mitrofan Choban. Professor Choban was the president of the Mathematical Society of the Republic of Moldova, rector of the University of Tiraspol and member of the Acedemy of Sciences of the Republic of Moldova. He was a distinguished researcer, with important contributions to topology, functional anaysis and other mathematical fields. We will never forget him.
